IVF Treatment

In vitro fertilization is a method of providing a pregnancy that does not occur naturally with tests and supportive treatments in a laboratory environment. It covers all of the studies carried out to address the source of the problem after IVF applications, tests and analyzes.

HOW IS IVF TREATMENT DONE?

Embryo formation is ensured by fertilization of healthy egg cells taken from the woman and quality sperm cells taken from the man in the laboratory. The obtained embryo is placed in the ovaries of the woman and pregnancy is realized.

Various drugs are used for further development of eggs in IVF method. The most important issue at this stage is to use personalized doses and types of drugs. Excess drug use may impair the quality of the uterine lining and the egg and worsen the results. For this reason, the specialist doctor is expected to make determinations in line with scientific data.

WHO IS APPLICABLE TO IVF TREATMENT?

It is a supportive treatment method applied to people who want to have a child, in case of not being able to reproduce naturally. According to the laws and regulations in Turkey, it can be applied to people who have a legal union.

A series of tests and analyzes are performed on the couples, and their egg and sperm production, age, and whether there is a pathological condition that may prevent the embryo from settling in the uterus are checked. As a result of all tests and analyzes, appropriate treatment can be started with the approval of the doctor.

WHAT IS SPERM BALANCE?

Sperm selection in IVF treatments is an important factor for the success of the treatment. Sperm quality, which has a 50 percent effect on infertility, should be investigated before treatment. While detecting problems with sperm, the decision was made based on their number, motility and anomaly, but in recent years, their capacity to fertilize the egg can also be determined genetically. If sperm-related problems are seen, good sperm selection, successful fertilization and better embryo quality can be obtained with various techniques used in in vitro fertilization.

WHAT IS THE MICRO TESE METHOD?

It is the process of obtaining sperm by taking tissue from people who cannot detect any sperm cells in the semen, that is, with azoospermia, by microscopic operation.

In the Micro TESE procedure, areas that are likely to contain sperm in the testicles are investigated under the microscope and the pieces taken from these areas are sent to the laboratory. In the laboratory, sperm detection is performed using special techniques and quality sperm are separated. The most important technique used at this stage is the fibering technique.

In the fibering technique, the removed parts are mechanically and enzymatically separated into their fibers. Sperm are detected in tissue pieces examined by experts in the laboratory, and then the most mature, quality sperms are selected.

Successful results can be achieved by providing fertilization with egg cells taken from the woman and quality sperm obtained from the man with the micro TESE method. With this method, the rate of obtaining healthy embryos increases.

EMBRYO IMAGING SYSTEMS

Once the embryos have developed, it is difficult to determine which embryo can successfully attach to the uterus. For this, it is necessary to observe the development of the embryos after fertilization. In order to make this observation, video systems that detect embryo development in medical cabinets called incubators have been developed. Thanks to the system, the development of the embryo can be followed with photographs and videos. Determining which embryo develops better and ensuring the use of these embryos can keep pregnancy rates high.

PREIMPLANTATION TEST: WHAT IS PGT?

Preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) is a genetic test based on the analysis of the structure of embryos obtained after fertilization. The results of this test, which has been successfully applied in IVF treatment, provide information about the adhesion capabilities of the obtained embryos.

On the 3rd or 5th day of the developing embryos, some of the cells in it are taken and the chromosome numbers in them are determined by genetic testing. In addition, various single gene diseases can be detected with this test. The embryo, which is concluded to be healthy according to the test, is placed in the uterus.

EMBRYO FREEZING AND STORAGE

Unused healthy embryos obtained in IVF treatment are stored for later use with the embryo freezing technique called vitrification. Thus, the treatment can be successfully repeated when deemed necessary. The viability rate of embryos frozen by the vitrification method is very high after the thawing process.

Embryo storage can be done for reasons such as obtaining too many embryos due to the use of drugs, and problems related to the uterus.

FAQ

With mesotherapy treatment, which stimulates the roots of the hair, dormant hair follicles can begin to develop and grow. Thus, the hair grows and new hair can be said to grow. However, the hair that has been completely shed due to genetic effects and is no longer growing can only be treated with hair transplantation. This process is applied for faster growth and strengthening after hair transplantation.

People who have this process done to their hair start to wait for the results with curiosity. As it is a nutritional supplement that reaches deep into the cells, the results are difficult to see immediately, but gradually they begin to appear. The effects begin to be seen in the first 4 weeks after the procedure. Net results are seen in an average of 6 months. The effects of the procedure continue to be seen in a period of 12-18 months.

Hair mesotherapy, which is applied at intervals of 1-4 weeks, can be applied for an average of 4 sessions or 6 sessions. In some people, it can be preferred as a single session rarely.

Every cell of the body needs nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and amino acids. That's why we feed every day. It is possible to have healthy hair, since the nutritional needs of the scalp are met directly in the mesotherapy procedures applied to the hair. Since the subcutaneous tissues where the application is made are fed, the hair follicles also grow healthier. In this way, hair loss can be prevented.

It can be applied to anyone between the ages of 18-65 who wants their hair to be nourished from the inside from the roots. It is preferred especially if there is intense hair loss and if this situation is not desired to become more serious. Effective results can be seen in every hair type, regardless of male or female.

It is done to feed the roots and the blood reaching the roots in people who have intense hair loss or have weak hair strands. In this way, the hair looks brighter, bushy and lively. In the application after hair transplantation, it accelerates the adhesion of the roots and develops the follicles.

It is applied by injecting vitamins, minerals and growth agents into the scalp. The content given to the cells is highly nutritious. The treatment process is determined according to the person, and the number of sessions is determined in this way. It can be applied in a single session, but it is mostly applied in several sessions. An average of 4-6 sessions of treatment is recommended. Applications are usually made once every 15 days.

Mesotherapy applied to the hair is a process that stimulates the hair follicles and nourishes the skin with vitamins and minerals, allowing the hair to grow. With this process, the blood circulation of the scalp increases, the nutrients reach the roots and the hair follicles grow.

Nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids that hair follicles need are given directly for more lush, dense and lively hair. This is much more effective than vitamins taken with food.
