Gynecomastia Treatment

Gynecomastia is the over-enlargement of the breast tissue in men. It can be caused by unbalanced estrogen, testosterone and growth hormones in the body. Generally the condition is considered benign.

WHAT CAUSES GYNECOMASTIA?

Lavender and tea tree oil, which are found in soaps and lotions, can cause gynecomastia in men because they contain estrogenic substances.

5- HEALTH PROBLEMS

Diseases such as kidney failure, liver failure, cirrhosis, hyperthyroidism, tumors or malnutrition cause decreases in testosterone levels and can trigger gynecomastia.

GYNECOMASTIA SYMPTOMS

Gynecomastia usually shows itself as overgrowth and oversensitivity on either one or both of the breasts. There may be conditions such as discharge from the nipple, or a feeling of lump under the nipple. Sometimes pain is also observed.
